Maria-Fe joined the MicroN BASE lab in the Fall of 2020. Her work is currently focused on studying and modeling quorum quenching behavior of bacteria.

Previously as an undergrad, she did undergrad research in assistive robotic exoskeletons, and she also took two academic semesters off in Spring 2017 and Fall 2018 to work in the building materials manufacturing industry as a project engineer co-op, managing and coordinating repair and improvement engineering projects.

In the future, she hopes to attend medical school and serve people as a physician.

In her free time, she enjoys jogging, sketching, swing dancing, playing the piano (very ill), and getting to know people over coffee.
