Molly Nystrom
B.S. Student, Biochemistry
Molly is an undergraduate student acquiring a B.S. in Biochemistry. She joined the MicroN BASE lab in the summer of 2024 and currently supports a project investigating the relationship between nano-topographical features and biofilm formation on biomedical devices. Her work includes evaluating bacterial attachment density using image processing and analysis tools, as well as analyzing the susceptibility of bacterial biofilms to antibiotics. After graduating in the spring of 2026, Molly strives to continue exploring the field of biotechnology in graduate school. In her free time, Molly enjoys reading and going on runs with her friends.
